EN Cheesy Feet
Ingredients for the pastry:

1 packet | baking powder | |
1 pinch of | salt | |
1 | egg | |
1 | egg yolk | |
1 tbsp | milk | |
200 g | butter | |
1 knife tip | each of paprika and pepper | |
150 g | cheese (e.g. grated Gouda or mountain cheese) |
To brush on:

poppy seeds, sesame, caraway or cheese |
Preparation
Knead all ingredients together. Wrap in foil and leave to chill for one hour, for best results overnight. Roll out the pastry thinly and cut out using the foot cutter (6 cm, 9 cm or 14 cm). Place the biscuits on a baking tray covered with reusable baking liner, prick twice with a fork, brush with the beaten egg yolk and sprinkle e.g. with poppy seeds.
Baking time: bake for approx. 10-15 min at 200°C upper/lower heat (180°C circulating air).
